City College Administrators鈥 Salaries Reduced by 9.4% for 2021-22
SAN FRANCISCO, CA 鈥 This morning at an administrators鈥 meeting, and in line with collegewide budget restructuring plans for all employee groups, Interim Chancellor Vurdien informed the administrators their salaries will be reduced by 9.4% starting July 1, 2021, for the 2021-22 school year.
Interim Chancellor, Rajen Vurdien, Ph.D. commented:
鈥淎lthough the news today is on track with the implementation of the 5-year Budget and Enrollment Plans, it is never easy when a salary reduction is recommended for any employee of the College. Our administrators work long hours, with few resources and some with limited or no staff at all. This reduction allows us to avoid layoffs of administrators.鈥
You can access current administrator salaries on our Public Information Page, under 鈥淎udit Reports.鈥
