Catalog Description

Introduction to the basic characteristics of watercolor, its physicality, tools, techniques, and history. Students will explore methods and techniques in order to develop an understanding of the medium. Emphasis will be placed on aptitude, artistic growth, and technical, perceptual, and conceptual skills to produce and analyze watercolor paintings.

Section Notes

This class requires in-person meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meetings will take place on Fridays from 9:10am-12pm on the Ocean Campus. Students will complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device. This class is part of CityOnline. For course details, students must check the instructor's website.
